| Position Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill two (2) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Event Setup Crew for the Alumni Association at Oregon State University (OSU). The OSU Alumni Association has openings for a student positions on the alumni center team. This is a year-round position. This is a part-time student position working up to 20 hours per week at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center. Student employees are an integral part of the day-to-day success of events and operations at the alumni center. Student employees execute event setups and perform basic maintenance, cleaning, A/V setup, technical support, and customer service. Flexibility, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work independently are required. |

Position Duties Customer service at the reception desk and with all clients and guests. Executing event set up and clean up. Setting up, testing and troubleshooting audio, video and multi-media equipment. Moving, storage, and setup of equipment (tables, chairs, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers). Minimum Qualifications Full Employment Eligibility Requirements can be found here: Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term - Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term - - International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered “full-time” by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Additional Required Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently as well as lead a team Ability to arrive on time and prepared for work Experience with A/ V setups and functionality helpful. Physical ability to complete job tasks, includes lifting, moving and setting up furniture and equipment.
