Job Description

Support the activities of the Quality Management System (QMS), contributing to the control of documents, standards and tools, supporting internal audits and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, providing technical development and a systemic view of organizational processes.

Main responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and control of documents and records of the Quality Management System
  • Assist in the review and standardization of procedures and work instructions
  • Assist in the control of calibrations of instruments and electronic standards used
  • Assist in the control of consumable chemical standards
  • Assist in the control and purchase of reagents and laboratory items
  • Assist in the issuance and control of certificates
  • Monitor action plans resulting from non-conformities
  • Support the follow-up of safety data sheets and RMAs for in-house equipment
  • Assist in the disposal of contaminated, recyclable and common waste

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a Technical Course (Quality Management or related areas), Administration, or related fields
- Availability to intern 6 hours a day
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025:2017, or other management systems
- Previous experience in academic projects or internships related to processes or quality
