Purpose

The purpose of this role is to contribute to harmonized Retail (Brick & Mortar) Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes to ensure best-in-class delivery service to the online consumer to support the North America (NAM) growth plan.

Supply Chain Management in North America Omni Channel Operations is committed to support and deliver against the defined road map in line with overall SCM WE and Direct-to-Consumer NAM business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full understanding of specific Retail processes. Contribute during the design or change of certain Retail processes to enable SCM to deliver required Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Evaluate and validate business requirements, develop solutions and ensure compliance across different functions in the organization.
  • Manage assigned projects securing progress and benefits to the adidas-Group and Retail business, on time and in budget. Apply structured project management approach.
  • Support the development, planning and execution of the SCM Retail project portfolio.
  • Request and lead multi-functional project team resources, effectively coordinating people and resources.
  • Work closely with Direct to Consumer, mainly Retail Operations and Allocations, IT teams, SCM Transportation and SCM operations to secure a consistent and effective execution approach.
  • Be involved in the roll out of Retail NAM robust and effective supply capabilities.
  • Connect with Retail planning for regular forecast updates. Identify process improvement to increase forecast accuracy. Work with Distribution Center (DC) planning on capacity plan to fulfil Retail forecast.
  • Review Retail processes with interface to SCM, map as-is process and identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and utilize process understanding and system knowledge to recognize interdependencies of the end to end E2E business processes and the potential challenges.
  • Provide input to decision making process to maximize sales of Retail while having in mind the overall cost for the Supply Chain and Retail Operations.
  • Contribute to the defined and future strategy of Supply Chain Omni Channel Operations focusing on consistency of process changes.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years working experience in supply chain management and/or Retail/eCommerce functions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven project management experience
