Senior Project Engineer &- Commercial Construction

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven Senior Project Engineer to support project teams and take on increased responsibility in project financials and overall project execution. This role is ideal for someone with 3&-4 years of experience who is ready to step beyond a PE role and play a key part in managing budgets, cost tracking, and project performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing project financials, including budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Support Project Managers in day-to-day project execution
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Assist with scheduling and ensure project milestones are met
  • Participate in buyout, procurement, and contract administration
  • Help maintain project quality and ensure adherence to plans and specifications
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 3&-4 years of experience in construction (Project Engineer or similar role)
  • Experience with multifamily construction projects strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of project financials, job costing, and budgeting
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.) preferred
