The Dive In! Design Coordinator is responsible for designing and developing the assets for a comprehensive marketing campaign for Dive In! programming, including Homecoming and Family Weekend and some events during Orientation. The coordinator will use existing logos and marks to produce a consistent design concept for a variety of print and digital assets. Core Duties Support the University’s efforts to engage students in a variety of dynamic programs during the first six weeks of the Fall semester. Initiate and develop relationships with various stakeholders (Student Activities, Residence Life, University Relations, etc.) to understand the programming goals and objectives in order to produce high quality marketing assets to attract students to these events. Using a variety of tools, design and develop marketing assets, including but not limited to: flyers, lawn signs, stickers, buttons, banners, door hangers, Instagram posts & reels, revolving digital signage, t-shirts, etc. Work collaboratively with staff members to produce short form social media reels. Initiate a review process of developed marketing assets with stakeholders to receive critical feedback and to make adjustments as necessary. Provide excellent customer service. Gather feedback from the target audience and produce a summary of work performed. Other relevant duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be available to work approximately 7-10 hours per week in the summer; on campus summer housing is available, but not required. Must return to campus by Monday, August 17. Must attend all scheduled meetings. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to network and communicate effectively Ability to listen and take instruction Excellent organizational skills; Ability to manage a high volume of details and tasks Ability to learn and use various technologies including the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, In. Design, After Effects, and Lightroom), In. Lighten, Gemini. Ability to take photos and capture short videos for social media and other efforts.
