Job Description

A well-reputable company in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Waste & Recycling Dispatch Manager to oversee daily collection and recycling dispatch operations. This role is responsible for managing drivers, coordinating routes, improving efficiency, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily dispatch operations and route scheduling
  • Coordinate drivers, fleet availability, and service coverage
  • Monitor route efficiency and resolve service issues in real time
  • Ensure DOT, OSHA, and environmental compliance
  • Track operational KPIs, safety performance, and customer service standards
  • Support driver supervision, scheduling, and training
  • Maintain dispatch records and fleet communication systems

Qualifications

  • 3 years of dispatch, logistics, transportation, or fleet management experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Waste, recycling, trucking, or environmental services experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience with dispatch and routing software preferred

Schedule

Full-time, Monday&-Friday with occasional on-call or weekend coverage as needed.
